10 Steps to Re-Launch Training

You may be getting ready to re-launch training with your Emtrain Learning Management System. Here are TEN quick steps to help you clean up the LMS and re-launch training!

  1. IS THERE A NEW TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR? Modify the email "From Preferences"  and the Automatic Email Updates.
  2. DO THE OLD COURSES APPEAR AS CURRENT? Archive courses that learners took in past years to prevent confusion. 
  3. HAVE THE POLICIES CHANGED? Update the Policies for your company and submit those Policies to Emtrain for courses you plan to launch. 
  4. HAS THE LOGO BEEN UPDATED? Upload your Company Logo to your LMS.
  5. HAS THE LEARNER POPULATION CHANGED? Prepare the spreadsheet to upload new learners or sync your HRIS system report to the Emtrain LMS. (Depending on LMS Level.)
  6. DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH COURSE SEATS OR LIBRARIES? Purchase additional seats online or contact sales@emtrain.com regarding purchases for more than 20 learners.
  7. HAVE LEARNERS TAKEN THE COURSE BEFORE? Reassign Training using the Assign Training tool to learners who have taken the course in prior years. The Previous Assignments Filter allows you to identify and assign these learners.
  8. ARE THERE NEW LEARNERS WHICH NEED TO TAKEN THE COURSE: Assign courses to learners.
  9. NOTIFY: Send email notifications to the learners with new assignments (if they are not automatic).
  10. REMIND: Set up email reminders to be sent automatically to learners with incomplete courses.
