How do I add a LinkedIn certification?

If you have completed a course with the option to add a LinkedIn badge, you can add a certification that you completed the course to your LinkedIn profile. To add the certification badge, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Click the Add to Profile button on the last page of the course.
  2. If you are not signed into LinkedIn already, you will be prompted to sign up or sign in. Sign in to your LinkedIn account.
  3. You will be prompted if you want to save your Emtrain certification. Click the Save button to add the certification to your LinkedIn profile.
  4. Your certification badge will be added to the Certifications section of your LinkedIn profile.

If you've never added a certification to your LinkedIn profile before, there may be an extra step involved. If you profile does not have a Certifications section already, please follow these instructions from LinkedIn's support pages:

"If you've never added a certification, you'll first want to add a Certifications section. Under your profile summary at the top, you'll see two sections that you can add to your profile. If you don't see Add certifications here, click View More to see a full list of sections you can add."
