The Red Flags Training Program course was released on 8/28/2013 without any downtime with version FACTA 220.127.116.11. Check out "What’s New" and "Known Issues" for this version of the FACTA course below. As always, you are encouraged to tell us what you think or file a bug report in the Help Center.
As part of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACTA), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the federal bank regulatory agencies, and the National Credit Union Administration have issued regulations (the Red Flags Rules) requiring financial institutions and creditors to develop and implement written identity theft prevention programs, which include staff training. Our FACTA training helps employees understand your Identity Theft Prevention Program and how they can help prevent identity theft by recognizing Red Flags and responding appropriately. It includes coverage of laws, regulations, definitions, identity theft prevention program details, detection, response, and handling address discrepancies.
